Summary:
Serve as the primary interface for Sihl with existing Distributor, Dealer, and end-user account contacts in the defined region. To maintain the necessary strategic plan and execute the tactical activities to accomplish the assigned budgeted sales objectives. Develop and manage account relationships to achieve the Business Group objective for both sales and gross margin. Be a part of a team atmosphere and actively contribute to the company knowledge base about the geographical segment, regional competition, distribution activities and overall business/market climate. Responsible for evaluating sales opportunities, setting sales objectives, and successfully implementing plans to achieve tangible results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the National Sales Director in setting annual sales budget and profit goals.
- Develop and execute a sales plan and strategy designed to achieve the regional annual sales performance objectives via sales visits and presentations, open houses, trade shows and co-selling with partners.
- Work with the Marketing team to inform of regional competitive activities, organize product training sessions with Product Managers, ensure all assigned territory customers have updated Collateral Materials, Access to Company Web-Pricing Schedules.
- Maintain the Sales Force CRM to be current and accurate concerning all assigned territory customers.
- Develop and maintain appropriate multi-level relationships with key strategic account personnel.
- Learn the technical aspects of coating and converting papers and films; become well versed with the entire Sihl media portfolio and company capabilities to better assist our reseller partners in growing Sihl Product Portfolios revenues and profits.
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred (any discipline)
- 5+ years’ experience in business-to-business sales and strategic account management.
- Digital Wide Format consumables and/or equipment experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to develop strategy and effect tactical implementation plans to achieve Sales and Business unit objectives.
- Self-starter working from a home-based office with up to 50% regional travel. Daily interaction with headquarter operations including customer service, marketing, distribution, finance, and sales management.
- The successful candidate will be an aggressive problem solver and an action-oriented Sales Representative who can balance customer needs and produce win-win arrangements that build long-term value for their careers and for the company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred (any discipline)
- 5+ years’ experience in business-to-business sales and strategic account management.

- Sales in Wide Format Ink Jet Media Experience is a Must
- Residing in the Dallas, TX area preferred.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment including operation of standard computer and phone equipment. May have occasional high stress when dealing with customers/clients.
